You are reading this before you have met anyone at Onwords. So these words are our handshake. We build smart homes and automated gates from Coimbatore. Seven years. Four states. 6,782+ gates. Finish this course and you will walk into any house and see what it could become. That is a skill most engineers do not have.
Meena comes home in the rain
Meena parks outside her house in Vadavalli. 7:40 pm. Raining. The gate is locked. Her son is asleep in the back seat. Grocery bags on the floor mat. She honks. Nobody comes. She steps into the rain, opens the padlock, walks up dark steps. The geyser is cold. The AC is off. Dinner will be late again.
Now the same house, after Onwords.
The gate slides open as her car nears the compound. The porch light is already on. The hall lamp is warm, not a blast. The geyser finished heating at 7. The bedroom is 24 degrees. She carried her son straight to bed. She never touched an app.

A normal home waits for your hand. You press a switch. You twist a key. You walk to the gate in the rain.
A smart home also listens. Tap a phone. Say a word. Set a schedule.
A Living Home goes one step further. It learns the family. It notices that Amma wakes at 5:30, so the geyser is warm at 5:25. Nobody tapped anything.
Onwords sells that third thing. We still install switches and motors, but the product is the feeling: the home knows you.

Why this is exploding in India
India's smart home market is worth about $6 to 7 billion in 2026 and is heading toward roughly $24 billion by 2031. Two research houses agree on that band.
Families want three things. Safety at the gate. Comfort after a long day. Power bills that stop climbing.
Bangalore builds new villas every week. Tier-2 cities like Coimbatore close even harder, because here a home is for life. We work both.
The rule that never changes
If the internet dies, the wall switch still works. That is a hard Onwords rule. A smart home that traps its family is a bad home.
If the hub dies, you open the gate by hand with the manual release. You press the plate on the wall and the light obeys.
